What is Blake Lashes?

Our Blake Lashes system is a ‘DIY’ at-home eyelash extension system, the lashes are designed for wear for anything from 1-7 days. The lashes have been specially designed & crafted for undereye application – they are featured on a superfine band and applied in clusters. Once you have practiced, a full set will take less than 5 minutes! You can easily remove them at home at your convenience & they are completely damage-free.

How Do I Blake Lashes?

Step 1: Prep Clean & prep your lashes with an oil-free cleanser to ensure your lashes are free from all dirt & oils. Wait for your lashes to be completely dry before you start the application.

Step 2:  Bond Apply your bond, less is more, dab a small amount of bond at the root of your lashes only – do not apply this like a mascara. You can also apply the bond directly to the spine of the Blake Lashes.

Step 3: Lash Apply the lash cluster underneath your natural lashes, close to the water line but not touching it. Complete both eyes & wait 5 minutes before setting. Blake Lashes need to be placed 1-2mm away from the waterline. They are designed to be lightweight and you should not be able to feel them (at all!) – if you can feel them then your placement is not correct, before setting gently remove them and re-position them till comfortable.

Step 4: Set To set your lashes to clamp them with your applicator tool for a secure hold then follow with Blake bond along the base of the lashes only to seal.

Step 5: Remove When ready to remove, generously coat your lashes with remover, wait 30/40 seconds & gently wipe the lashes away. They should glide off easily, if they don’t then apply more remover until they remove with ease.

Insider Top Tips!

If you want to become a Blake lash pro, check out our insider top tips below!

  1. Curl your lashes before applying, this helps to get a better view up under your lash line
  2. When applying place a mirror in front of you angled up, so you can look down into the mirror – or use your free hand to lift your eyelid up for a better view
  3. Application is all in the angle, make sure you are placing the Blake Lashes at the correct angle – working to the natural curve of your eye & ensure the placement is 1-2mm away from your waterline
  4. When applying hold the Blake Lashes right at the tip with your applicator tool, this helps with the application process as the Blake Lashes will be the first thing to touch your natural lashes, not the applicator
  5. Avoid getting your lashes wet, if you do get them wet then let them air dry (do not touch them whilst they are wet) then once dry re set & seal
  6. Clean your applicator in-between uses to remove any bond residue
  7. Avoid using oil-based products around the eye area as this may loosen your Blake Lashes
  8. Avoid touching your lashes & clamp them down every night to secure
  9. Clamping down is super important, once you have finished your set wait 5 minutes then clamp down your lashes with the applicator tool
  10. Practice really does make perfect, don’t be put off if it takes a few attempts to get your application correct, take your time when applying your first few sets & you will soon have your technique & be able to apply in minutes!
